Damos gracias a Dios porque la idea que salió como preocupación de varias familias de vecinos sobre la NO supervisión para sus niños en horas después de las 4:30 pm se hacen realidad a partir del 20 de octubre de 2003. Muchos padres por cuestiones de trabajo no esperan a sus niños en los hogares y estos entonces solo llegan a ver programas de TV que no necesitan ver o sino están corriendo en las calles.
Les invitamos a venir a ver y preguntar de que se trata. El ministerio latino de nuestra Iglesia Metodista Orangethorpe es responsable por estas actividades. Los padres que tienen tiempo libre en esas horas y quieren ser voluntarios se comunicaran con la Pastora Teresa 773-4950 o personalmente.
Todos los niños de nuestro vecindario son siempre bienvenidos.

Thank God that the idea which started out as a concern of several families of our neighborhood -- the lack of supervision for their children after 4:30 -- are now a reality, beginning October 20, 2003. There are a lot of parents who, due to their work schedule, can't be there when their children come home. The kids come in and watch TV programs which they really don't need to see, or just go out again to roam the streets.
We invite you to come find out what it's all about. The Latino Ministry of our Orangethorpe United Methodist Church is responsible for these activities. Parents who are free during this time and who would like to be volunteers, please contact Pastora Teresa at 773-4950, or in person.
All the children in our neighborhood are always welcome.
